If you're interested, you could always keep one set in cases, "Ready to go when the guys call me to play." One for in the house, one for gigging and puttering around. That's logical. You wouldn't want to take the chance of damaging that incredible kit, so you have one that doesn't have that value to putter around town with. Makes sense.

Do not get rid of those!! You will have a hard time finding another and those are special drums! I have a 1969 mod orange 22,13,16 and mine is dated March 26th! How wierd! I think you would definately regret it. here are mine.
