Wow, that really is a monster bass drum. What size is it? Really cool looking kit.

Alright...I love that and I love that you cobbeld it together out of otherwise unused parts. Fantastic. Tell us more about it.

Very cool, I love it. Spray paint those hoops flat black and they will look sharp.

They look Goth.

Hello Guys

yes i also think it looks and sounds quite cool! It has calfskins on the bassdrum, they make a dark and warm sound , but there is an awesome pressure on the bassdrum! It`s not a pok pok, its boom boom... when you know what i mean? ;-)

I build it out of that old marching drum, one Tromsa 14"Floortom (wich I cut to the needed lenght) and out of a thin birchshell wich i bought from STDRUMS in Germany. I also bought the Hardware parts for 16" Floortom there. The re-rings on the 16" FT i made in myself, also the bearing edges. They are done by hand:-) That was a cool job, because i would not know how it sounds, till its set up! I was lucky...it sound cool:-) really deep!!!

Most of the stuff(all the hardware, the old Paiste Dixie Cymbals, Pedal and Hi-hatstand) was lying around in my house for years, without any use at all.

I had to remove an awful blue paint from the bassdrum to give her a new finish. Not my favorite work:-)

Here some more pics...enjoy:-):)Jumping2
