This drum was painted blue over white.

After careful striping I uncovered this amazing

inlay-ed pattern made of ebony, walnut and rose wood

over maple. 3 coats of shellac, painted hoops black (original color)

and polished up the metal rim. The rods are next. I soaked them forever but they still have rusty stains. They were never chrome or nickel. Working on it. Drum is 30" so heads are gonna cost me.
