Is anyone here able to reproduce lugs from 1 existing lug?? Or does anyone know anybody who can? Im going insane waiting around for the ones I need and I am being told constantly that I will never find them. I wanna put an end to this.

Please put a picture and what exactly you need.

There are some vintage experts who probably could chime in here to help you.

Wado - Regardless of the method you use, most of the cost is going to go to set-up, creating molds, etc. This kind of thing only becomes economical when manufacturing in large quantities. For smaller orders, the breakdown is higher per piece as the order gets smaller. It would be worth it if they were running 10,000 pieces. It would reduce the per piece cost down to realistic levels.

I would think sand-casting and pot-metal would do the trick for economy.

John your exactly right. I have hit up a sand casting place but if that doesnt work out then thats the end for me....

Interesting indeed Jim. Maybe I dont understand 3D printing properly but wouldnt that make the replica lugs plastic?

Factor in that the cast parts will also have to be plated which is an additional costly step and operation. I'm sorry that you're running into so many walls. It happens to be a great idea... reproducing impossible to find hardware. It's just costly and the kind of thing only well-heeled gentlemen can venture into. Maybe that's why the parts are 'hard to find' in the first place... it ain't easy to make em!

Hope you hit the Lottery soon! :p
