Hi Gerald, glad you liked the kit mate...first gig with it is on 19 May..cant wait to give it a run out...Apparently there aren't many full kits about...i know that joey kramer, bun e carlos, and todd trent have the 90th anniversary kit too..

Only close up view I've personally had of the Top Hat & Cane finish was Joey Kramer's set which is on display at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland (got reprimanded by an attendant for running my fingers over the wrap).

So is your set an original wrap or a rewrap with the reissued wrap? It looks gorgeous!

Hi mchair 303..

my Top Hat & Cane kit kit was refinished by Jack Lawton which was used for Ludwigs 90th anniversary back in 1999.

After the initial 180 snares had been rewrapped, 3 complete kits were finished, one was definately for Joey Kramer.

Apparently my set was the last complete set to be wrapped which makes it even more special ..
