I hadn’t heard of these hand held cymbal devises before I discovered this old mention from Ludwig in 1927. I checked it out a little and found the image below of what they say is a J. W. Jenkins' Sons Music Co., 1929 version (or is this the Ludwig model?). I don’t know what the 1927 Ludwig looks like, but it appears Ludwig has patented a newer version a few times over the last four decades as late as 1994. I was unable to find it in the catalogues I viewed. Does anybody know what the 1927 Ludwig version looks like?
