Ludwig&Ludwig snare strainer

Loading...

Hello,

I have a Ludwig&Ludwig 15 inc Super Ludwig Snaredrum.

The strainer is missing.

The snare sounds great when you play a rumba with no snares.

I mannaged to put a normal 60's Supraphonic strainer without drilling extra holes.

But when you play it you don't hear egnogh buzzing.

Please help

Here are some pics.

I bought the drum in the USA from somebody round Seattle.

The drum looks original except for the finish.

The guy tried to restore it but could not find the strainer and did not want to spend to much time on it.

No extra holes.

It?s already 7 years on the attic, would like to play on it.

The 60's parts should fit. Of course, they would be in chrome, not nickle like your drum. I might have those parts...

If you have the part would you consider sending it to the Netherlands?

Show me a pic of the strainer side of the shell...I'll make sure it is the same setup as the later ones.
