Man those sound killer! I know its a $$$ thing, but I'd be hard pressed to get rid of them! They sound pretty close to the kit I have.....also a 6-ply kit, but with the deeper power sizes. BTW, what heads were you using at the time of the clip?

I chose a Marine Pearl finish from JamminSams. Evens G2 coated on tops and Resonant on the bottoms. Bass is a combination of EQ4 clear and coated. Snare is Evans Powercenter with a very loose tension on head and snare.

Well......I'd wait on selling these if I were you. 3-ply shells are a totally different animal than the later 6-plys. The 3-plys are more mid-rangey and punchy where as the later 6-ply shells have a more full sound. You may love the 3-plys, you may not....depends on the sound you are looking for I guess. I have both types of kits and prefer the 6-ply for most live situations and the 3-ply for recording and smaller room gigs. If you sell these and end up not liking the 3-plys as much as these, you will be kicking yourself.

I am seriously selling these. I would trade if possible. I am looking for a late 60's to early 70's 20 inch bass and a 14 inch floor tom. I don't care about finish. I will recover them. Someone out there wants and needs these shells. I don't. I'm reworking my kits and these shells don't fit. Anybody need these? Bueller? Bueller?
