Ludwig vistalite value? Last viewed: 1 hour ago

Hi all,

I have a 13 piece clear vistalite kit I'm thinking about selling and am wondering roughly what it's worth. I bought it on ebay 6-7 years ago. iirc it's mostly ~1976, with some of the toms possibly added later. 2x 24" bd, 14" snare, 16" & 18" floor toms, and, iirc, 6, 8, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, & 16" mounted toms. No cracks that I'm aware of. Standard scuffing.

Not shown in attached pics are the 16" tom (looks the same as the rest), hoops and res heads for bds (never bothered to put them on :D), and the original (I think) high-hat stand (decent working condition). No snare stand or bd pedals (though I do have a pair of Axis longboards I might sell with it, if I do sell).

Thanks.

Welcome to the VDF, your kit is cool. This being concert toms is not as in demand as a double headed kit would be, probably $800.00 or so I would sell the axis pedals separately.

Your drummers not much good is he!? What you need is someone that's as good as me. ! John Henry Bonham !!

Since it's double bass, it may be a bit more..... 800$ is conservative. the value would bump if you had period correct hardware. but he's right that concert toms aren't in style. Polish out the scuffs and the price goes up. It also depends on how clean the hardware is.. cleaning them up to look pretty will raise street price.
