Ludwig Vistalite super sensitive advice??

Hello All, I just picked up a 70's clear vistalite B/O pointy badge 10 lug snare with a Super Sensitive strainer. From my readings on this site this strainer seems like a bit of a pain in the ass. Finicky is the word I keep seeing regarding this SS strainer. I have been told by a member here that it looks like it is just missing the snare guards and snare wires. My intention is to clean this up and sell it. Is it worth trying to find the missing parts and get it up and running or because of my inexperience with these SS strainers would I be better off just cleaning it up and selling as is. Any advice is much appreciated and if anyone is intersted in purchasing you send me a PM.

A well-maintained SS strainer isn't finicky. But if you haven't worked with one before, I wouldn't recommend trying to restore one in questionable condition, as shown in the pictures.

Thanks for the reply Tube Lugs. Does this strainer appear to be in rough condition??? Like I said I don't know anything about these. It appears to move freely and feels smooth but what the hell do I know!! lol
