ludwig vista toms...what are they worth Last viewed: 9 hours ago

Loading...

got a guy who wants to get rid of a bunch of drum stuff. i buy stuff to re-sell but i have alot of stuff as it is and don't need more stuff (or have the room)

but in the lot he has 2 ludwig 70's blue vistalite concert toms in 15" and 16". both have mini lugs and are pretty clean. i think they have clip on mounts.

i know what vista's usually run, but i never see these sizes in concert toms (or a concert tom kit for that matter)

are these hard to find, anything special about them, dime o dozen, value,etc...

for the lot price its still a good deal. just a matter of room. i will see him tommarow at a store's parking lot swapmeet i'm selling at.

A Combo badge drum is from 1980 when Ludwig sold off the vistalites shells and the 3 ply shells..Funny thing the first ones they did had Plastic lugs with all the problems they had with the lugs Ludwig started to used the small and big classic lugs on the drums..Mikey..

15's and 16's are common..Blue is one of the most common color..Concert toms..I would say maybe if you sell them as a pair 150.00-175.00..Mikey

yep,the combo vistalites ran from 78-80. i bought a set years ago that was missing the floor tom. mine have been in cases and are like brand new including the plastic lugs that mikey mentioned. classic lugs will go right in there too. they were cataloged with an b/o badge acrolite as well. i do have a spare combo badge that i was given, but no floor tom.

My clear Vistalite set came with 24" bass and standard 13", 14" and 2 18" floor toms, but also came with a pair of 15" and 16" concert toms with mini-lugs but no clip-on mounts.
