Yep. The options were copper, brass or chrome plating.

I'll take your word on that. It looks stainless because the inside.

I have on record these, 13/14. It'll take a lot to convince me these are not Stainless. But I'm a SONOR guy and I'll take you guys words on it. I never had them in my hand.

OddBall Ludwig used plain steel to make the timbales not even stainless steel, what you see on the inside is over flow of the chrome that was never polished. That is why if you drill a hole on a set of Ludwig it gets rusty in time

I know some Reggae Drummers who use one timbale in their set up when the band has no timbalero.

Another happy customer! Thanks all for the help. Surprisingly, this is the second timbale I've come across in the past year. The info and advice from you guys helped me learn. Thank you.
