Ludwig Supra 5x14 B/O no serial

Hey guys. I've had this drum for a number of years and absolutely adore it, but when I was looking into its history to figure out exactly what year/make it was, I was unable to match it. Here's a picture of the badge:

Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks.

Is it a 6.5x14,or a 5x14? Look around the muffler knob for a "B" stamped into the shell...could be a CHROME OVER BRASS model, otherwise its a 1970 lud-o-loy shell,if im not mistaken.when they first issued these badges they cut the numbers off...at any rate...nice supra :-)

It's a 5x14. There's no B imprint, so it's the Ludwig proprietary alloy. I'm giving it an overhaul today with a full reassemble and polish/regrease with new heads. Shiny pics to follow!

Upon closer inspection, I found this date stamp, but unfortunately it's right on top of the Reliable Anti-Galvanic stamp. Maybe someone can make it out?

Also, is that a cursive A? What does that mean?

Looks like March 23rd to me!

Actually, I believe this was an early badge, circa 1970. The drum was drilled for a Keystone badge.

Upon further inspection, I'm even more confused now. My drum has a very different snare unit from what I've seen in every picture I've found for Supras.

Here's some shots:

Here's the snare strand itself:

Anyone ever see anything like this before?

I guess so, too. This is probably a transitional badge from 1969-1970.
