I have a vintage supersensitive purchased new in 1966. Can someone please confirm the following for me: I was told that the strainer on these vintage snares is the P88. THe strainer on the post 1968-1969 supersensitive is the P70. Is this correct and what's the difference?--Thanks Ken

According to my Ludwig book by Rob Cook, all I see is the P-70, no listing of a P-88

The replacement snares are different for the pre/post vintage 68-69 SS. Take a look at Puresound replacement snares for the supersensitive. Their is a break in the design/version for the pre 1968 versions. Something is different in their designs. I have a 1966 version supersensitive and I've only located the puresound replacements.--Ken
