^ While I agree that Rogers, oftentimes, made superior mechanical designs, they just couldn't keep their "car on the road" (so to speak) and the company folded. Ludwig, on the other hand, with their simpler-yet-better-marketed designs, is still a major manufacturer to this day. So, I'd have to conclude that Ludwig got it MUCH more right in the long run!
