Yep. Exact same shells as the Jazz Festival snares. Just different lugs. And in my opinion, the Strata finishes that the Standards came in are about the most awesome wrap finishes ever made.

Last year I was playing two weeks of a rock musical and I had two snares with -- a Pearl Sensitone Elite BOB and the Standard aluminum snare. The Pearl kept detuning so I put the Standard up there, and it stayed up there -- in tune -- the rest of the run. Great snares, just now seeming to get the recognition they deserve.

Happily, I now have a blue strata Standard kit to go with the snare!
