$1,000. Great drums. Boring lugs. Limited resale value market value (wrap isn't everyone's favorite).

I have $700 invested in mine. I love just as much as any other kit.

ya, that's about what i was thinking. I know this finish is fairly rare and if we listen to some of the drum gurus around here about being rare and in pristine condition, this may be a $10,000 kit. Excited

I'd suggest $500 to $600. They are cool, but they were the low end offering. Strangely enough, the only significant difference is with the hardware, which is fine, and 22" bass drums typically had 16 instead of 20 lugs. If I'm not mistaken, they are the same shells as on the Super Classics of that era. Even the lug hole pattern allows the classic lug to be installed. In fact, I think all the hardware can be exchanged. The best part is they use wild colors that were not offered for the Super Classic level kits.

Standard bass drums have 20 lugs. You are confused with later model Rockers. The drums are very well built and sound awesome. If it has the matching snare drum $800. If not $700.

That's kind of a lowball, I saw one similar sell on ebay for over $700 and it had out of round shells and scratches, this kit is mint. The kick has ten lugs on each side and yes, they have the same 3ply shells as the Super Classics, not to mention, all tags are present and have a date of April 27, 1971.

Take it back because we are not finished debating its value.

I traded my black Rogers for it because I only had $700 in it, I love the finish on the Standards and I'm trying to score another Rogers kit in blue sparkle, so I'll have another one soon.

I sold my 1971 gold mist kit with the chrome snare for $650 and it took a while.

So how do you like the way they sound compared to the ROGERS?
