Yeah, I guess sometimes due to style of music as well as the venue, your 4pc Ludwig would be best... I always "down-sized" my double-bass sets if the style/venue changed and warranted it. One time in college (LONG time ago) I subbed for a "big-band" "swing" type of band, and for some reason my Ludwig Rock-Duo set just wasn't what was needed!
BUT -- wail away on that "monster" at home, OK!
Bill,What did you use to polish them up? I was thinking industrial kitchen SS counter cleaner or Maas polish?Is the snare fixable cracked or shot cracked and they are my drums now :) mwahahahaha
To get this thread back on track (and sorry I hadn't responded sooner):
I use "Mother's" Chrome polish. Red plastic container, buy it a Wal-mart in their automotive section... does a GREAT job!
