I'm not nit-picking on this, so any further post by other members, please don't read it as such......but.....Ludwig did not offer a hi-hat stand called the "spur-lok" model.......that is the name of the mechanism under the heel plate to anchor the stand in place on a carpeted surface. You have one of five models of stands it could be depending on the era and configuration of the legs. There's the Classic, the Atlas, the Hercules, the Modular (early one's had the speed king style footboard with the spurlok) and the Atlas II.
