Ludwig Snare

Loading...

I am trying to get some information on this Ludwig Snare that My cousin gave to me that was found in his basement. I want to find out the year it was made and how much it is worth. I am debating on selling it, is it worth to sell or keep.

I hope you guys can help me out.

The serial number is 326407

I believe it is hammered bronze

here are some photos:

Hi,

I have that snare and you've missed a digit on the serial number-should be 3 million etc etc. Basically a HH supraphonic. 250-300 on Eflay. Not a bad snare but I never liked it until I put die casts on it. Overall a good solid workhorse.

cheers!

hey vince,

I just noticed I missed a number in the serial number.

I think I might sell it to a friend that is looking for a new snare.

It is no use to me because my weapon of choice is guitar.

So its basically a 80's hammered bronze supraphonic?

What do you suggest for cleaning it up and polishing it?
