Perhaps now with the right serial number, and a correct date estimate, a deal can be made.

Collecting information about the following for ongoing research projects:
Gretsch drums with serial numbers,
Ludwig Keystone and B/O badge drums with serial numbers and date stamps,
Ludwig Standards from 1968-73, and
Ludwigs with paper labels from 1971-72

So the guy I sold this snare to on Ebay for $500 has re-listed it for $699!! Crazy, who's going to pay the price of a brand-new one! I hate this guy, he gave me a hard time about not overnight shipping it when he paid for regular 5-7 day delivery. I took it all apart, polished all the metal with Mothers and put it back together in perfect tuning because I thought this was somebody who was going to love and appreciate the drum like I did, and he just re-listed it with my pictures, word for word. All he changed was the fact that I needed the money to apply to grad schools to "medical bills" ! Sleazy bastard I hope he breaks it before he can sell it. He doesn't deserve this drum. I wish I sold it to Lersch!! At least he would have appreciated it.
