I had a set that i restored and re-wrapped with a custom wrap. Mine was originally a white cortex wrap. The drums sounded just as good as my late 70's, 6 ply Big Beat kit, only not quite as loud. Very good drums. These were the "imperfection" shells that Ludwig just slapped 5 different colors of wrap, with the lower budget black and white badge, rather than throw them out. They were patched up with an extra piece of (maple) veneer. $100 is an awesome deal !

You can always put a tom on a snare stand for a four piece set up. You can get a bottom 16" rim almost anywhere. Post pics as you clean them up. Always enjoy a good cleanup and restore project.

I loved my Rockers and sold them for $450 with snare a few years ago. They're loud, great rocking drums. Loved the chrome over wood snare too.
I'm pretty sure that if Ludwig badge is black and white they are USA made in NC.
