Ludwig replacement wing nuts & tom nuts

Loading...

This may be naive of me but, so I defer to the experts. Where can I purchase replacement 5/16 - 18 wing nuts (of the proper physical size & finish) for Ludwig 60's floor toms? I have found the proper thread size, but the wings are smaller. Also, trying to find replacement bolts & nuts (again proper size as original) for 60's rail consolette. Any input is appreciated.

I can definitely use some too - as well as the screws and washers that hold on the lugs from the inside.

70s Slingy WMP
70s Ludwig Standard Aqua Mist
60s Ludwig Champagne Sparkle Downbeat
and a whole bunch of snares and hardware

me too.

i think it's common want. i had no luck finding identical wingnuts, washers and nuts to replace some worn out and missing parts on a project.

i actually took the original ones from another kit to the hardware superstore to try to match. sadly, no matches.

You can find a ton of sellers for lug mounting hardware on e-bay. Usually 2-3 sellers at any given time. Search for 'ludwig mounting hardware'

I did the same thing with no luck. They had nylon in the exact size/shape...but come on!...nylon?? I'm on a mission to find a supplier. When I do, I'll share.
