I'm not aware of the P-85 being offered in a nickel finish. It would seem that by the time the P-85 came out, everything was chrome plated. By any chance are you referring to the P-83? I know these were made in both nickel and chrome.

Yes, the P-83 is what I meant. It's the same basic mechanism and same hole spacing (??) as a P-85.

I'm okay with a chrome one, because I use straps and not string/cord, and a P-83 will only accept string/cord.

Post a picture for those of us who do not know that model by name. Someone might have one in a box and not aware of what they have.
