I Have a 1960 date stamped silver sparkle ludwig jazz fest snare.Can any one tell me what type of snare wires were original to this drum?Where can I find them?

They should have been Ludwig's own snappy snares, most likely 20 strand. They make something similar to them today, but are not quite the same. Puresound makes good wires that are similar in sound and response to the originals, if you don't mind un-originality.....otherwise, you'll be searching ebay for NOS ones.....
