Ludwig inlay Width

Hi,

I have just bought some black oyster pearl genuine hoops for my 60s kit. The inlays are 1/2 inch. Is this correct? It’s looks wrong. The old hoops are 5/8ths. What is the correct size for this kit. I though 60s were 5/8ths and 70s 1/2 inch, but the seller is telling me otherwise. Advice appreciated.

The inlay width remained the same thru the 60's and 70's. I believe it was 1/2" but am not home to measure one just now.

Mine is 1/2" on a 1969/70 Jazzette (Blue Olive badge 762696 but no date stamp).
