Ludwig Hollywood Inquiry

I was a bit late to jump in on this one. I have a 65 Hollywood set with the 2 x 12 toms... Legacy set from my father, that I just restored. Wish he would have waited till 66 to get the 12 & 13! I shouldn't complain, I do have all of the orig hardware, trap cases, cymbals, and red seat throne! Do any of you know if there are some pieces that are more collectable in the Hollywood series? I heard the 14" floor tom is hard to come by. I am also looking for the standard snare in a black pearl. He opted for the SuperSensative (adjustable individual snares) snare... Which I had to 'rig' with a rusty spare part I found in an old music store that is about a half inch too long. Yes, I have issues, better start my own posts! haha

Hello 65 Hollywood again, Like I said in another post, I have the Hollywood set date stamped sep.15 1966. I bought the entire set new as a shell pack with a few hardware items. It has the 12 &13 Toms on top. I've just about completed cleaning and bringing them back-they are WMP with some golden color aging over the years. If anyone knows about what they are worth, I would appreaciate some infomation.--Thanks

P.S.--Also, I have the Supersensitive from around that same time frame. It has the individually adjustable snares also. Some of the snare wires have come loose and I looked all over for a replacement set to no avail. I replaced them with the vintage Puresounds. I you know of an original set or someone who could repair the old set of snares, please let me know. Ken
