Ludwig Hi-hat Stands

Loading...

Ending the year with a few "easy ones" for you Ludwig experts:

1. How can I tell the difference between a vintage Ludwig "Hercules" hi-hat stand as compared to a vintage Ludwig "Atlas" stand?

2. Were both produced in the 1970s?

3. Is it safe to assume that the "Hercules" model is more valuable?

THANKS in advance for your time and consideration!Keep on Pl

I think it depends on the who's looking for what on any given day. One week, the Atlas Spurloks get more expensive, and some days it's the Hercs that are going high. I have a tublicar Spurlok I was getting ready to put on eBay. It has the flying saucer feet. The pedal action is good. It's missing the front spur, but has the spur under the heel and does not move around. It has a newer replaced clutch. I part of the original clutch too. The rod is not perfectly straight, but not too bad and works fine. I'll let it go for trade or cheap if you need it.

Hey, Matt,

THANKS for taking the time to respond to my post.

I'm looking looking to purchase a Ludwig Hi-Hat Stand.

I've got one, but am not sure whether it's a Hercules or Atlas Model.

I'll be selling it shortly and simply want to make sure that I list it under the correct model name.

THANKS AGAIN for your time and response.
