Can we all please get this correct for once?? THERE IS NO SUCH MODEL AS A "SPUR-LOK" HI-HAT MADE BY LUDWIG!!! DOH

"Spur-Lok" is the name of the anti-creeping device made into the heel of the footboard of the various 1960's-early 1980's hi-hat models, NOT THE ACTUAL HI-HAT!

The models are as follows: classic (or Ringo style if you will), Atlas/Big Beat (the tubular leg/swivel foot style is still an Atlas model btw), Hercules, Atlas II, and Modular up to 1985.

There never was a spur-lok model hi-hat. As you can tell it just plain drives me nutz when someone says they have a spur-lok hi-hat. These are the same people that think EVERY bass drum pedal Ludwig ever made is called a speed king....check out ebay and you'll know what I mean.....a speedmaster is NOT a speed king people......and a spur-lok is NOT a hi-hat model.
