WOW! Does anyone think this will work on a "brown" Ludwig blue oyster wrap. It's a 13" tom with white interior and baseball bat muffler.It does not match my kick.

And yes,Carmine sizes for sure on the kit in this thread. Love it, always wanted one!

I tried the same technique on a bowling ball BOP that the white was faded and it worked well for the 1 minute of work I put into it. If the wrap is bad enough then what do you have to lose. I was already prepared for a rewrap when I tried this experiment. As far as the whole Carmine thing goes, I'd love to find another bass drum to go with this one. I think the chances are probably slim and if I did, I'd hate to see what kind of money I'd have to give for it.
