Ludwig Flat Base Cymbal/Snare Stands with Speed King and Spur Lok Hi Hat Last viewed: 1 hour ago

Here's a hardware package. All these stands came to me with a complete 1968 Ludwig Kit (the kit and snare have sold).

Each stand still has the original Ludwig factory sticker that reads: "Warning! Do not overtighten without inner tube in position in order to prevent permanent damage to the stand!" Very cool collector's detail!

This hardware pack includes:

-1 Ludwig Flat Base Stand Model # 1400 Appears to be mid 60's model...there is no Ludwig logo on the base). Top rod has flea bites from tightening the wing screw. Has warning sticker. Non original rubber feet

-1 Ludwig Flat Base Stand Model #1400 The top rod/tilter is a mint one I had around, no flea bites! The tilter is missing it's internal spring and plastic sleeve). ...has Ludwig 70's logo on base. Has warning sticker. Has original rubber feet.

-1 Ludwig Spur Lok Hi Hat Stand Model #1123-1 Great shape with original clutch. Thin clutch rod has a decent amount of flea bites from tightening the clutch to it). Has warning sticker. Non original rubber feet.

-1 Ludwig Speed King kick drum pedal Looks and plays very well! Non original rubber feet.

-1 Ludwig Flat Base snare drum stand in vg condition. Has warning sticker.

All stands are in great shape with only minor pitting. Again, I'd wager these were sold together originally in the late 60's with the same '68 Ludwig kit I recently bought.

The box is 22lbs and it's dimensions are 22"x11"x10"...it's coming from 97214.

I just went to photobucket and must have mistakenly made it private. It's public now, and I think that link will work (it does for me).

A sum greater than its parts, this hardware package is a collector's kind of purchase, each stand bearing the warning sticker that seems to have been taken off of, or was never included on, most other 1400 flat based stands out there. Just an extra detail that adds more of a story for the collector. If I separated them, they wouldn't have an opportunity to reinforce each other's story.

Looks like a really nice hardware package but I already have 3 Speed Kings, 2 flat-base snare stands and Ludwig 2 hi-hat stands...just looking for the 1400 cymbal stands. If you change your mind, let me know.
