I've been looking for a 60's Ludwig kit to add to my aresenal. I found this gold sparkle one on cl. It's a definite players kit with a 13,16,22. There are two extra holes on kick. The picture shows incorrect kick hoops and t-rods although he says he has the original ones. He's asking $925, but said he would do $800. Does that seem like a fair price? Thanks.

If he is including the originals, $800 is a very fair price, assuming the wrap is solid.

You get stuck with a white elephant, if you ever want to sell. I had a downbeat in gold could only get a grand for it with extra holes and that was lucky , so buy to play as a keeper , nice players kit , great sound , good luck...
