Hi.

Scroll down below the message window and find the "manage attachments" button. Click on that, and then you will be able to choose image files from your computer and upload 'em.

if they are too large to upload (the site will tell you so if you try) go to a free online image resizing site like:

http://resizr.lord-lance.com/

and resize the image there, download it back to your computer, then upload the resized image to this site.

Hope this helps....band2

Nice kit...I'd use white reso bass heads with correct era ('60s or "70s) smaller Ludwig logos. They'd look more vintage!

Thanks Jaye, for your help, resizing seems to have been the problem.

Rich, I never heard of reso bass heads, but I had considered white heads with the smaller sqript before I decided on the ebony ported Weathermaster heads. I just really liked the way it made the kit look. I suppose someday I can get my hands on those reso's so I can swap them out at a whim. Thanks I will look them up and add them to my wish list. (The list seems to keep growing) Right now I am looking for a Ludwig snare case for my Super sensitive snare.

Allen...was it originally a double-bass kit ? Or did you add the second bass ? Dang, it looks really minty.

Sizes ? What's the snare ?

White reso bass heads will just make it look much more classic..sort of an aesthetic decision.

I bought this set second hand in 71 for $400.00 which included

two 20" bass Ser#783975 & 783976 (Twins)

Toms 12" & 13" Ser#783964 & 783986 date stamp 3/25/1969 & 5/22/1969

18" Floor tom Ser#783963

14" Super sensitive snare Ser#701174 date stamp 4/18/69

two Atlas B&O cymbal stands

and get this a 1960's Rodgers giant drum stand Catalog #4012

The rest of the ludwig cymbal stands I bought seperately around 1970

2 Model 1400 and 2 that I can only ID with 2423 on the bottom of the stand.

The two med ride cymbals are Avedis Zildjian 20" & 22" which I bought at a trading shop in 1970 for $70.00 total. (What a deal that was)

The other crash cymbals are a 16" Avedis Zildjian I bought eary 80's

and a 16" Ludwig Paiste Formula 602 I bought in 1971 as well.

The HiHat is Ludwig Paiste standard matched with Ludwig Spur Lock stand

I also bought new in 1969

I have a Ludwig Ghost pedal and Rodgers Swivelmatic but I am using a new set of Cannon Pro series UP-PD526 Doublebass pedals.
