Ludwig Drum Badge Date Mystery... Last viewed: 8 hours ago

I'm looking to buy a set of vintage Ludwig Standard drums and have come across a badge that according to "The Ludwig Book" I just bought date the drums from 1968-1982 (pretty vague).

When I compare the serial numbers against this website it looks like the drums are from 1964 - 1965

The serial numbers on the drums range from 38442 for the 12" tom to 38914 for the 22" kick drum - here are the serial numbers for each drum:

12" 38442, 13" 38473, 16" 38432, 22" 38914

Do I have a 1964 drum set on my hands here? Or what? I have pictures of the kit and serial numbers for verification but can't figure out how to post them here.

Standards had different numbers and do not follow the Classics numbering. Check for date stamps, wrap type, hardware, and a few other items to nail down an approximation. Post pics.
