They're rare, not often seen.

Not collected much though so value isn't sky high.

I think Kurt Ekstrom, (a collector who often posts on DFO,) has a complete set.

I've seen lacquer versions and wrapped versions of the finish.

Your set appears to be WFL? At that time they were a different company than Ludwig and Ludwig.

This is not my set-I saw it on craigslist and I think the name Kurt was in the listing so it might be the same guy-it was either Vermont Maine or New Hampshire-I think the price was $3000

IMO, 3K is way over the top for a late 30's/early 40's WFL outfit like the one pictured.

I agree with BEC that 3k is definitely on the high side...If the right person sees it and wants it, they may pay it...
