Looks like some kind of Mahogany or Ribbon figured. Also has some quilting going on. Hard to tell, is it as light as it is in the pics?

Looks like a curly maple shell, and since it is a Monroe badge...I'd say somewhere in the 200-300 range..maybe a little more. Not too much vintage about the Monroe drums. Could be worth a bit more, but I can't see it for a maple drum, as I can do that anytime. The veneer for that drum costs ME about 2.00 delivered. I bought enough to do my kits' interiors and I think I paid 20.00 for a bunch of it. Looks nice, but ain't worth a ton.
