LOL ! This is the Ludwig set i've always wanted ! I was born in '71, and Bowling Ball Oyster blue is my favorite Ludwig finish. So to have that kit would be something special. But for now, i'm stuck with my Big Beat Black Cortex ;) Congratulations on a great find !Clapping Happy2Cheers,Rob

I graduated high school in '71, so that makes them kind of special.

There is a guy on eBay with a bunch of blue oyster pearl drums, he is selling a set, a 20" floor tom and a 14" or 15" tom. That 20" floor tom is intriguing, I had one before, but I think if I add a floor tom it will be a 14" or 18". This is supposed to be my little set anyway.

Beautiful set. This was most undoubtedly part of a rock duo set that had two bass drums. I wonder what happened to the second bass drum? I have a rock duo from 1968.

The guy that played in stage band in high school my senior year had that set in mod orange. I always loved that set. I wonder if he still has it.

If I find a matching virgin bass drum I will snatch it.
