Ludwig Black Oyster wrap

Hey all!

I recently bought a 1971 Ludwig set in the Hollywood configuration, a really nice player-grade kit. I'm going though it, cleaning everything as best I can and replacing a few broken parts with period-correct replacements, I'll post some after pics once I get it in tip-top shape. The worse issue is a mysterious burn on the very bottom of the bass drum shell. Looks to me like maybe a cigarette burn that started to get a bit out of hand. Does anyone happen to have a small piece of this wrap from that period that they don't need and would be willing to sell me?

You might want to try Bumwrap or Compactdrums???

They can take a high res picture and make a piece up for you.

Would match your set perfectly.

That wrap may be called "Bowling Ball".

The issue with bowling ball is before it was introduce there were still using 2nd gen obp

April 2nd 1969 scarfed pink champagne holly wood and 65/66 downbeat snare, and , supra same year very minty kit old pies
66/67 downbeat with canister
