+1.Around 84 through the 90's.Rare is probably THE most over used, and inacurate word used to describe vintage drums.Post some photos .

Black & White badges were also exclusively used on the "galaxy black" finish acrolite snare drums, and the Rocker & Rocker II series drums, not the classic series drums. Ludwig started using them in 1982 and continue to use them to this day on certain model snare drums. I concur with the others.....rare, they are not. 60's they are not. Quality drums, yes. Valuable....well....that's up to the guy laying out the $$ for them......generally, rocker & rocker II series drums are not worth much money, but this can be a good thing. They are an excellent gigging drum of much higher quality than most import sets, including the current "captive" import sets that Ludwig sells.

Are the badges black and white or maybe black and silver? The Ludwig Standards had black and silver badges, shaped like a triangle with the bottom point round.

Check the Vintage Drum Identification link at the top....then Drum Badges....then Ludwig badges...

The set is a late 60's Ludwig Standard set.I only see a few parts that are missing. The bass drum single tom mount are hard to fine.T-rods and claws are wrong.Claws should be like the ones you see on Ludwig classic drums,T-rods are not the classic style ones these are again some what hard to fine..The floor tom legs are wrong..The shells are like the classic type 3 ply with rings very good shells...Mikey
