Gidday from down under

Mate I scored a Be Bop kit the other day with a 18" bass, the bloke reckons these were made in May1971, the sizes are 10" 12" 14" 18" no snare.

I cant find a web site that shows me the month of manufacture does anyone know of a link please & would the original snare been maple as well.

Im also after some info on the 10" x 6 1/2" tom. The lug holes are closer to the top but the drum has a bottom bearing edge, are they a concert tom?

These are my serial numbers it is a blue & olive badge kit.

10" 955 686

12" 955 685

14" 954 954

18" 954 948

Have a ripper mate.

Cheers

As close as you'll get is year, around 1976. Granitone interiors started in 1971, but your serial numbers provided, put them at '76

As far as the 10" shell, I've never heard of a double-headed 10" tom tom from that era, so it must have been a single-headed tom (concert tom).
