Ludwig bass anchors/spurs?

Loading...

Hey folks, I have a 20" Ludwig bass, maybe from the '70's, which does not have holes for spurs (not to mention claws, t-hooks, hoops, or heads crying2-07), only the holes seen below.

Any ideas?!?!

Thanks!

Could be a marching drum? Not sure what kind of hardware Ludwig used for those.

Someone on another forum said it was a Club Date, and would have hoop mounted spurs, which I have never seen.

With that badge I doubt it would have hoop mounted spurs. Hoop mounted spurs were 40's and 50's. Club Dates had single lugs like that but that badge would date it to late 60's ? I am more a Slingerland guy but I am sure some Ludwig experts will chime in.

Good luck
