Ludwig & Ludwig Washers

Loading...

I recently acquired eight Ludwig & Ludwig drum washers. I think they are very cool and should clean up nicely. The seller said they were from the thirties to forties. They are stamped Ludwig & Ludwig, Chicago, U.S.A. Each washer is 7/8 inch in diameter with a 1/4 inch hole. Although they appear to be too small for vintage cymbal stand washers (although they do fit the shaft of my 1400 stands), I was wondering if they might have been used for helping to secure the pads to vintage foot pedal beaters. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Brian

Probably used as washers for the eyelets on single tension bass drums.
