Ludwig 955 Two Tone Knock-Off?

Loading...

Hey, guys. Yesterday, I bought a vintage two tone cylindrical set of wood blocks and mount. They are VERY close to Ludwigs produced in the '20's-'30's in looks and measurements BUT, they appear to be made of oak rather than mahogany. Also, there is no stamp anywhere. I don't believe they are Japanese though. The thread size for the two main bolts I measured are 1/4-20, NOT metric. The bolts are slotted. I wish I could post pictures but, I don't even have a camera. Could these blocks be knock-offs? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you very much.

If any member can post a picture of a genuine Ludwig cylindrical set of wood blocks or a close replica, it would sure be appreciated! I have been researching for days but, have come up empty handed. These blocks sound great but...THANK YOU!!!
