Ludwig 60's Hollywood drumset

Loading...

This is a 100% original Ludwig 60's Hollywood drum set I restored.

I got them from a family friend. He bought them new in the 60's ,he was a club musician for 20 years. And they went into storage for the next 25 years before I got them. All chrome, wraps and heads are still in outstanding condition.Drums sound and play as good as the day he bought them.

Before picture and after clean up.

Excellent restoration job on that kit! Kudos. I just bought an early 60's Hollywood kit myself. Can't wait to get to work on them.

Did you do the wrap-job yourself?

April 2nd 1969 scarfed pink champagne holly wood and 65/66 downbeat snare, and , supra same year very minty kit old pies

Super 400 small round knob

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

Man, I thought it was a re-wrap!

Yes, please do tell us how you got the wrap so clean and bright again.
