If you want 2k for a drum I think you better provide lots of pictures and more info.

Thank you!

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

I'm interested in what this ends up selling for, if the seller doesn't mind sharing, and how long it takes to sell.

This was my exact thought when I saw the one picture! With all due respect to the OP, better pictures are required. This appears to be your typical up-close smartphone picture. For such a fairly rare drum, more thought should be paid to posing the drum for proper pictures. I'm sure the market is there for the drum, but I've no doubt that all prospective buyers want, and expect, pictures that do justice to the instrument.

I think we all know how difficult it is to post large pictures on this site. Even smartphones today take pics bigger than 2k in file size. This is truly a very rare snare drum. I happen to own one in Oyster Blue Pearl and they too are rarely seen in the SC outfit. I’ve turned down offers of $1k for it in the past.

So, I don’t think $2k is an off base asking price for it.

The one pic here does depict a beautiful example in an extremely rare finish! If I lived close by, I would be grabbing some cash and heading over!
