Hey all.

I just picked this up to match a zephyr lud wmp WWII kit. Does anyone know what the correct strainer would be as the housing (piece still on the shell) does not seem to match a p-83 or the like.Help2

Does anyone have the missing strainer piece to sell to me? Cmon...good cause here. baby crawl2

That is what I found as well but was unsure. P-83s have a dif casing.

Another question on this is would the moveable piece of the p 83 work on this?

The throw lever is still there, I just don't know if a p 83 front would work with this. Anyone. The screw holes on this are about 2 inches apart when a p 83 is about 2.5.

Help!!DOH

Man...I see/hear tumble weeds in this thread. Hello....is this thing on??

Does anyone know if a p-83 (the moveable piece) will work on this strainer casing attached to the brown snare??

I'm hoping that it would attache to the thow handle and I would be good to go but I've never used a p-83 and can't seem to find this actual complete strainer anywhere.

help....

You might email Mike Curotto directly since no one seems to know so far.

You're missing more than just the slider. The upper ball shaped part that holds the snare adjusting screw (strainer) is also missing. It clips (or is riveted?) into the vacant hole in the small movable part seen in you picture. Also, it looks like the mounting flanges on yours turn inward while the mounting flanges on a P83 turn outward...so I doubt that the mounting holes are the same, but I'm not sure of that.
