I have a very sought after vintage/antique 1923 Ludwig Standard Snare, 8-lug, 5 1/2 x 14, Nickel over brass, in great condition. The nickel is not pitted or chipped anywhere, and there are no dents at all. I have not attempted to clean it up at all yet, but I think a minor polish job would make this look amazing. This snare remains "as found" from Grandma's attic.

It has the original gut snare strainer and its in awesome condition. It has the original calfskin top head which could use some cleaning up but it still is solid and sounds great. The bottom head is newer.

The throwoff is missing an adjustment screw, but I have seen them available on the internet.

This is a great chance to own one of the highly desirable rare snares.
