Ludwig 18" Floor Tom Project

Hi All,

I am considering restoring an 18" Ludwig Floor Tom with a B/O badge.

Currently it's been painted over so I would consider a rewrap of Black Cortex to match the rest of my kit.

Also missing is the bottom hoop and tension rods. I know the rods wouldn't be hard to get but the 18" hoop is another story.

I'll post the link to the eBay auction, it ends soon so I'll base my plan from any suggestions I get here. I am handy and would definately be up for the challange although I have never rewrapped a drum before.

The 18" floor toms are getting top dollar on ebay right now. I personally think it's the whole Bonham phenomenon going on right now. Everyone wants the Bonham sizes and you've got to have that 18" floor tom to comlete it. Good luck on your search. BTW, the 18" hoops do show up on ebay.
