How I love this drum which I bought new around 1980.

Unfortunately, after a long time sitting in its case, the drum really looks like it needs some restoration and some tender loving care.

Any ideas how to deal with this brass-shelled drum with the black lacquer finish? I'm scared to do anything right now.

use 3 in 1 oil to clean and polish it with a clean cotton towel don't rub to hard.
