You've helped me identify it as an 1121, and yes, I added the 1123 cymbal cup with the tilter.... just because it's more playable.
Completely disassembled, cleaned refurbed -- and in the process I found out that yes indeed, the spring tension IS adjustable. Clever, too... classy vintage hardware.
I had the footboard polished, and it turned out great. I went way over the top detailing this, to the extent of using a Dremel tool to clean out the insides of the rivets. Paid off, though -- details like that really make a difference. The chrome isn't perfect, but it is small scratch type stuff, bot pitting and grossness. Gray Hammerite paint on base
I added small circles of hardened silicone to the bottom of the feet - they had hardened over time and the stand bottomed out, rather than sitting on the feet.
Really nice vintage piece. Selling only because I have, um, four Spurloks. This is a BEAUTY.
$100 + shipping - I'll pay half of it if you're in the lower 48 US states. YES INTERNATIONAL shipping is fine.... I can find out the cost for you if you'll send a message.
In fact, it's better to send an email to me at wafulton5@gmail.com because I can't always access this site at work.
Thanks!
